Get to Know Dr. Daniel Chen

Originally from Potomac, MD, Dr. Daniel Chen has many years of experience in the dental field, and he’s always excited to meet new people with various backgrounds. Not only does he enjoy building incredible relationships, but he is also passionate about providing the best orthodontic dentistry for his patients. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
From a young age, Dr. Chen found himself instinctively focusing on the nuances of a person’s smile. Years later, he discovered that dentistry and orthodontics were a natural way for him to help people create beautiful, confident, and healthy smiles. Today, he remains dedicated to expanding his skills and expertise so that he can offer the highest quality care for those in his community.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Chen attended Cornell University for his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He later studied at Tufts Dental School in Boston, MA, for his dental doctorate and his Master of Public Health before graduating from the Georgia School of Orthodontics in Atlanta. Currently, he remains committed to undergoing continuing education to stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and orthodontics. He is also a proud member of professional organizations like the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Orthodontists.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Away from the office, Dr. Chen loves to stay active by skiing, rock climbing, and playing tennis—which he’s been doing ever since he was a kid! He also enjoys cooking, trying new foods, traveling, and relaxing whenever he has the chance.
