Steps to Putting on a Face Mask<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You might think putting on a face mask is fairly self-explanatory, but overlooking one simple step could lead to spreading germs. Here\u2019s the best way to put on a face mask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Wash your hands with clean running water and anti-bacterial soap for at least 20 seconds before putting on your mask. If you can\u2019t get to a sink, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Examine your mask for any defects or damage, like a broken loop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Place the colored side of the mask facing outward.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. If the mask features a metallic strip at the top, position it against the bridge of your nose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Depending on the type of mask you\u2019re using:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Ear Loops:<\/strong> Place one loop over each ear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Ties:<\/strong> Hold the mask by the upper strings and tie them securely near the crown of your head. Tie the bottom strings near the nape of your neck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
